Empowering athletes with 80/20 endurance: online training plans for peak performance

 

Created by renowned authors and endurance athletes Matt Fitzgerald and David Warden, 80/20 Endurance is the world’s largest training plan provider for endurance athletes!  Their training plans are designed specifically  using the 80/20 principle, meaning 80% of your training is done in an easy zone, and 20% is completed at a more moderate or hard intensity.  The method works, and its something we’ve used in the past when training for triathlons or cycling!

Well when 80/20 Endurance reached out for help with advertising their training plans and educational courses, we understood their product, the growing pains they might be experiencing, and could jump right in to support their team!

 

Promoting training plans, workouts, and courses for coaches and athletes can be challenging.  In today’s world, you’re not only competing with personal trainers at gyms like Planet Fitness or 24-Hour Fitness.  There’s also the new boot camp-like classes at Orange Theory and F45.  Finally, there are thousands of virtual, online workouts available on platforms like YouTube, Zwift, and Peloton! 

Endurance athletes now have so many options for training programs that it can be tough to stand out in a crowded marketplace.  Therefore, in the rapidly growing fitness industry, you need a multi-faceted approach!

We started by developing a comprehensive marketing strategy.  Next, we focused on promoting their vast library of training plans, and educational courses like Endurance Mastery and their Coaching Certification Course.  Finally, we worked to capture the stories of real athletes that have found success with 80/20 Endurance!

  • Designed and launched paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms to increase revenue
