TASCO MTB is a Southern California apparel brand that is dedicated to being a part of your daily stoke. By mixing the surf culture with mountain biking, they’ve created unique designs that not only perform well, they also look and feel good.

Meredith has been an essential part of the TASCO team since 2017. She took the reigns and developed our TASCO Tribe, which has since grown to almost 60 ambassadors! Besides managing our brand ambassador program, Meredith supports TASCO with content writing, email campaigns, and event activations.

When Nate Miller approached us, he was operating out of his garage, managing everything from e-commerce to shipping, email marketing to social media. Most weekends he would pack up his van and head to the nearest mountain bike race to set up a booth and sell TASCO’s gloves, socks, tees and hats. He needed to develop a team that could begin managing some of these areas to leave him more time for business development. So our key conversions were:
- Email marketing: Growth of email list, increase email open rates, and increase conversions via email
- Create a new revenue stream and increase brand awareness through a brand ambassador program and affiliate codes
- Increase website traffic and improve SEO by producing content about the mountain biking culture, not just about products
- Increase revenue from product sales at mountain bike events and festivals
Goals
Sharing the TASCO stoke was something that evolved organically among local mountain bikers in San Diego. With each event we attended, the love for the gear and the people behind the brand soon spread to places like Moab, Sedona, and even back East.
We brought the fun to events. Gathering our athletes, the ‘TASCO Tribe’, around the campfire at the Sea Otter Classic. For a round of Footdown with all-star trials rider Jeff Lenosky. Or a meet n’ greet at the Sedona MTB Festival with YouTube sensations Dusty Betty and Skills with Phil.
Here are a few of the Goals we’ve accomplished:
- Created and managed a Brand Ambassador Program, the TASCO Tribe, with over 50 riders from pros to weekend warriors
- Created an email marketing strategy that not only generated more product sales, but also shared more of the TASCO MTB culture of riding our bikes off the beaten path, ‘from the sea to the sky and back again’
- Tell the TASCO MTB story and share our experiences through content writing for blogs and Q&As with TASCO MTB Tribe members
- Nurture that TASCO stoke by building great relationships within the local mountain biking community
