Blue Fire Collective Marketing Agency

In early 2021, we reached out to Erin to say congrats on launching her agency, Blue Fire Collective.  Why?  Because we love connecting with other female founders in the outdoor industry, and Erin’s team provides similar digital marketing services to ours at Top Rope Media.  The call was short and sweet, and I promised to stay in touch.  Especially if we had an outdoor or lifestyle brand that needed PR help.

Just a few days later, Erin contacted us to see if we had the bandwidth to take on a new marketing project!  The ask included content creation, email marketing, social media management, and paid social advertising.

We outlined a marketing strategy that included increasing conversions in the following areas:

  • Product Sales
  • Newsletter Signups
  • Increase in Website Traffic
  • Social Media growth on Facebook and Instagram   

Goals

Participation in outdoor sports has increased dramatically!  Families are going fishing, camping, hiking, and biking more now than ever before.  Blue Fire Collective saw this coming, and from years of experience working alongside the best in the outdoor industry, they realized their superpower is the ability to combine their collective knowledge to help brands grow.

In addition, over the past year, Blue Fire Collective has seen the marketing landscape shift.  There has been less spending on traditional marketing tools like print and PR campaigns, and an increase in spending on digital marketing and e-commerce solutions.  They wanted to reach their customers where they spend their time.  Whether that’s searching on Google, checking their email, or scrolling through their Instagram feed.

Our goals reached so far with Blue Fire Collective:

  • Increased the number of product purchases
  • Grew fledgling social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram, increasing reach, engagement, and followers
  • Streamlined content production- creating a Content Calendar and using Hootsuite to schedule posts across Facebook and Instagram
  • Produced successful paid social advertising campaigns that increased brand awareness
  • 2x per month email newsletters to highlight product offerings and tips
