The National Education Association (NEA)

Event Planning

Event planning, especially when you need to include media production, can be exciting!  This is why we love being part of the Closed System team each year for the National Education Association (NEA) Representative Assembly.

what is media production at an event

Media production at an event includes directing a team to capture:

  • photos
  • videos
  • sound bites
  • interviews
  • written content

Then, this content can be distributed to event attendees, fans, or the media via email, blog posts, website updates, social media, podcasts, and digital or printed daily papers.

who is the national education association?

The mission of the National Education Association (NEA) is to advocate for education professionals.  Unite their members to fulfill the promise of public education. Prepare every student to succeed in this diverse and interdependent world.

The NEA represents over 3 million teachers!  And, the NEA holds a representative assembly, the RA, for 4 days around the 4th of July each year.  The RA is attended by over 5,000 delegates from across the nation!

media production at the NEA RA

Top Rope Media works together with Closed System to provide editorial, photo, and video production at the NEA RA.  This includes photo and video of the entire 4-day event!  In addition, our team produces full cut and edited video pieces, and supports the production of a daily paper for event attendees.

We provide leadership and direction for staff members in high-pressure environments.  So, if quick turnarounds and on-time delivery are an essential part of your event, let’s chat!
